Great pedals, I got this for my wife’s new e-bike an Orbea Rise. Really good pedals if you want to start using clips pedals. Definitely recommend them.

Awesome response from company when I emailed them a question. They pointed me to the right pedal for my bike. I've ridden several times with pedals installed and am pleased as punch as to how secure my feet are. I ride a recumbent and it's vital to have feet attached to the pedals. Having tried clipless for years I wanted to try these. These are truly great.

I have magped gravel pedals on both my road bikes. I have more confidence in my ride and no anxiety with sudden car maneuvers and road stops.
I'm a heavy cyclist so I opted for steel. There's more surface contact than with the SPD pedals.
I started having slight discomfort on the twist out on my right knee with SPD and SPD-SL, after a car accident last year. I do not have that complaint with Magpeds and I feel the positioning is more forgiving. Whereas an improper fit twist or anything on traditional clip-ins can cause problems.

Here’s the deal- these things actively save my shins in mtb-xc, enduro and downhill. I have chemo induced peripheral neuropathy in my feet but no cancer so I ride quite a bit. Not feeling my feet led to pedal slips, which led to gauges from pins in my shins. Weird huh? You get it on the uphills. Well these magnets were the trick, never happens now. Done! Got em on 2 enduro bikes -propain ekano2 Al ebike, and the propain spindrift carbon fiber. No connection to propane, they’re just my bikes. I use all short pins with a shoe that grips the dirt. I use burly cleated mtb shoes with the thicker steel plate - I can still hike around Sedona, Prescott, flagstaff, Bellingham, Squamish, wherever. This worked for me. Mtb is all about control.

I really like them as they are a life saver with no accidents no more.

I purchased these pedals as I have very little control of or feeling in my left foot due to a disability in hope the magnet would keep my foot securely on the pedal. Unfortunately, I am experiencing some heel rotation that interferes with the crank arm on occasion reducing my overall confidence. I would have selected your road bike pedals, as they appear to limit or eliminate heel rotation. unfortunately, the road bike version is out of my price range. your pedals appear to be of good quality and at this point are performing adequately, I just wish there was a way to eliminate heel rotation. Thank you.

My new MagPed Road2 pedals are exactly what I need. I can exit easily yet still retain the ability to pull strongly on the back stroke. Really nice!

So far so good. It took a bit of work to get the connection between plate (strong) and pedal (Ride Concept). I went by their reccomendation to install taller pins at the front, but that put the shoe too high for the magnets to make connection with the plate. I also had ordered the Strong plates when I ordered the pedals and I'm glad I did. The strong plates along with the stronger magnets gives me a a good connection. The strong plates are also thicker which helped to get the connection better. I tried loosening the magnets to get them higher, but they felt way too loose for durability, as in they felt pretty loose and I was afraid they'd break or fall apart in heavy riding.

I'm still getting used to a good foot placement without looking, but starting to get a feel for when my foot is off center.

My peddle showed up before my bike did. Shipped as promised and arrived at my door sooner than expected.

With a new left hip I needed a system where I did not need to rotate my heel outward to disengage as this is a no-no for dislocation. My magped GRAVEL fulfills this requirement perfectly. Plus, unlike other solutions, the "cleat" still fits up inside my gravel shoes, which is a huge plus.

These work great with cyclists with minor motor impairments. Helps keep feet on pedals without having to twist to unclip!

I broke my ankle a few years ago and later developed osteoarthritis. Pain limited the amount of torque I could apply to get out of standard clipless pedals. Magped pedals offer the perfect combination of adequate attachment force and ease of exit. The anxiety of remaining stuck, unable to bailout if I had to, is gone. I am thrilled with the results and couldn’t recommend them any more highly.
