magped GRAVITY pedals
Built for the most demanding riders and gnarliest terrain, our GRAVITY pedal is your secret weapon for downhill riding. Engineered for trail, enduro, and especially downhill / bike park riding, GRAVITY delivers unparalleled control and confidence.
GRAVITY vs ENDURO2:
If you’re looking to have your foot connected closer to the front of the pedal than our ENDURO2, this is it. GRAVITY strategically positions the magnet in front of the axle. This innovative design allows for a centered foot position—exactly where you want to be when tackling steep descents and technical features. This optimized stance enhances balance, stability, and control, giving you the edge you need to push your limits.
Built to withstand extremes:
GRAVITY isn’t just designed for tough riding; it’s built for it. We start with a solid block of aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum and CNC-machine it to exacting tolerances. This results in a pedal that’s incredibly strong yet surprisingly lightweight.
- Uncompromising strength: A reinforced 12mm steel spindle shrugs off the impacts of massive jumps and hard landings, ensuring unwavering reliability
- Enhanced grip: Aggressive, replaceable SWITCH pins (9mm/11mm) provide exceptional grip and foot security, keeping you locked in even in the roughest conditions
- Larger platform: A slightly larger platform than the ENDURO2 offers increased stability and control, allowing you to confidently navigate any trail
Key features:
- CNC-Machined 7075 aluminum: Forged from aerospace-grade aluminum for exceptional strength and durability
- Variable SWITCH pins (9mm/11mm): Customizable grip for personalized performance
- Reinforced 12mm axle: Built to withstand extreme loads and impacts
- Optimized magnet placement: Centered foot position for superior downhill control
Specifications:
- Weight per pair (without pins):
- GRAVITY 150: 488g
- GRAVITY 200: 518g
- Dimensions: Length=112mm Width=110mm Height=17mm

Why magped pedals?
Designed in Austria by automotive engineers, we are dedicated to innovation, quality and performance.
Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

So far so good. It took a bit of work to get the connection between plate (strong) and pedal (Ride Concept). I went by their reccomendation to install taller pins at the front, but that put the shoe too high for the magnets to make connection with the plate. I also had ordered the Strong plates when I ordered the pedals and I’m glad I did. The strong plates along with the stronger magnets gives me a a good connection. The strong plates are also thicker which helped to get the connection better. I tried loosening the magnets to get them higher, but they felt way too loose for durability, as in they felt pretty loose and I was afraid they’d break or fall apart in heavy riding.
I’m still getting used to a good foot placement without looking, but starting to get a feel for when my foot is off center.
I am 6’6″, 250lbs and wear size 16 shoes. No MTB specific shoe exists in size 16, so I have been stuck in the world of flats for 50+ years. At my age I was unwilling to learn how to ride clipless with road bike shoes on MTB trails….and then magped arrives. So far I have really enjoyed magped, the benefits of clipless pedals without the dreaded clipped in spills. Spent several hours on very technical climbs and descents. Had to “footdown” a couple of times (and was able to without issue). Pedal strikes did not send my foot flying off the pedals and descents happened with more confidence. Thanks….
Great pedal, great improvement over Enduro 2 (I also own that model). Only issue is the price tag, even though many will say the price isn’t that much over high quality flat pedals (yeaahh, kind of, but it’s still almost double the price for upper end Deity or Crankbrothers…), you have to keep in mind you’ll need the shoes as well, which isn’t a small detail. I still think they’re worth it, but if I hadn’t already had the shoes, I wouldn’t have bought another set. Given the only other option on the market sells for over 260 US$ plus taxes and shipping, I think the Magpeds are the better deal, especially since the lifting force required to unhook from the REMtech kind of defeats the purpose: at this point, might as well go for clipless…
Provides just enough connection to the pedals to maintain contact when barreling down a rocky trail or landing a jump. No more shin bang
lots of adhesion, easy to position my foot/shoe
Best pedals for Recumbent Trikes!
