  1. Customer Service from magped was OUTSTANDING. They helped with all kinds of questions from product selection to billing to setup to tech support. All of it in a fast, efficient manner.
The pedals work exactly as advertised, but it’s quite different from SPD cleats. Super easy and simple to disconnect, but tricky (for me) to engage. Adjustments and fine-tuning helped. I’ve only put 30 miles on them so far, and I expect this to improve greatly with additional saddle time. Ask me again after our group Century tomorrow! 🚴‍♂️

  2. May is excellent, great customer service. Magped gravel has been great so far. I stay fully locked in but yet have the ability to clip out if needed. Titanium saves a bit of weight as well. 214 grams measured is almost dura ace level weight!

  3. I have magped gravel pedals on both my road bikes. I have more confidence in my ride and no anxiety with sudden car maneuvers and road stops.
I’m a heavy cyclist so I opted for steel. There’s more surface contact than with the SPD pedals.
I started having slight discomfort on the twist out on my right knee with SPD and SPD-SL, after a car accident last year. I do not have that complaint with Magpeds and I feel the positioning is more forgiving. Whereas an improper fit twist or anything on traditional clip-ins can cause problems.

  4. I really like them as they are a life saver with no accidents no more.

  5. With a new left hip I needed a system where I did not need to rotate my heel outward to disengage as this is a no-no for dislocation. My magped GRAVEL fulfills this requirement perfectly. Plus, unlike other solutions, the “cleat” still fits up inside my gravel shoes, which is a huge plus.

  6. Nice looking. Fits like a traditional gravel pedal. Very happy with my purchase.

  7. really nice change from Look Keos. will take some muscle memory retraining but the release is quite easy. well made product

Why magped pedals?

Designed in Austria by automotive engineers, we are dedicated to innovation, quality and performance.

shoe recommendation

Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.
