Technology
Magped is all about precision engineering. Our pedals are built to last with three high-quality, sealed bearings for smooth, effortless pedalling. Our replaceable pins ensure long-lasting grip. The powerful neodymium magnet is finely tuned with our integrated polymer damper for optimal performance and safety.
Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

I can unclip so much faster. And as a bilateral hip replacement recipient, I feel confident that I won't ever fall or be locked in because the release capability is immediate.

Verified ownerGreetings. I ordered the Magped Road 2 pedals after using the Look Delta pedals and Shimano SPD pedals. I have noticed that when setup correctly, the Magpeds feel just as secure and stable as traditional clipless pedals but are much easier, in my opinion, to disengage when needed. The weight is light and clicking in is super easy. I have recommended them to a couple of my friends that cycle as well. I didn't notice any unexpected releases from the pedals when cycling hard and/ or quickly. They provide a stable and reassuring connection. I am glad that I tried them and will continue to use them on future road bikes.
